Promote Internationalization with Help of Foreign Teachers

          In the afternoon of Dec. 18th, a dozen of foreign teachers were organized by the Foreign

          Language Department to get together for celebrating the Christmas' Day. Deputy secretary

          Zhao Rixing, the head of FAO, the leaders of Foreign Language Department, and foreign teachers'

          coordinators all joined in the party.

 

          Mr. Zhao pointed out that the education internationalization was our college's significant work and

          the foreign teachers were the important strengths. He thought highly of foreign teachers' foreign

          language teaching, the English corner and the positive efforts in the foreign language contests. He

          expressed his sincere thanks for the hard work of foreign teachers and gave greeting to them in

          advance at the same time. Michael, one of the present foreign teachers said that he felt very happy to

          work and live in Huizhou, and he said he would continue to work hard in teaching and made more

          contribution in the future.

 

          It was reported that there were 14 foreign teachers in Foreign Language Department, taking up 25%

          of the full-time teachers. They were from America, England, Canada, Ireland, Japan and other countries.

          The foreign language department arranged coordinators for every foreign teachers for timely

          communication and help them to solve the problems in their daily work. The introduction of foreign

          teachers greatly broadens students international vision. Since 2009, there had been more than 70

          students going to America, Japan, Taiwan and others for study or participating in various exchange

          programs which were organized by Foreign Language Department. More than 10 students studied

          aboard, such as Edinburgh University and other postgraduate schools.
