HZU and University of Technology Sydney Signed a

Memorandum of Understanding

On May 25th, President Peng Yonghong attended Australia-China (Guangdong)

Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference held in Sydney.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Attila Brungs,

President of University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and Peng Yonghong, President

of HZU, agreeing to conduct cooperative projects regarding teacher and student

exchanges and carry out joint scientific research. This event marked the official

establishment of partnership between two parties, and served as a cornerstone of

education internationalization for HZU. Attendees for the signing ceremony were Hu

Chunhua, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the

Sectary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee; Zhao Yufang, Vice Governor of

Guangdong Province; Chen Yiwei, Party Sectary of Huizhou, etc.

The signing ceremony was a part of non-economics program of the event. HZU’s

signing is on behalf of education communication and cooperation projects among

non-economics programmes.
