Chinese Study Program (2019) was Finished

with Flying Colors

A closing ceremony of the Chinese Study Program (2019) was held in May, 24th, attended

by 13 Indonesian students and relevant faculty.

The Dean of School of Chinese Literature and Communication expressed his

congratulations for the completeness of the Chinese Study Program (Spring) 2019.

He hoped the Indonesian students’ learning experiences gained at Huizhou University can be

brought back to their home country, thus contributing to the communication between the

young of two nations.

A student-produced documentary video displaying highlights of the program was shown,

followed by a mini-movie that showed how Indonesian students learned Chinese and anthem

of Huizhou University. Present teachers and students were deeply moved by the scenes of the

video and movie.Two representatives of Indonesia students addressed a speech on behalf

of the whole class. They expressed their hard feeling of leaving. They would keep missing all

those friends and teachers who had helped and supported them.

They thanked for the precious opportunity of learning Chinese, which has facilitated t

heir better understanding of Chinese history and culture.The IAD Director gave her closing

speech. She first congratulated Indonesian students’ completeness of this year’s Chinese

Study Program. She said that organizing this event enhances the internationalization

of Huizhou University and promotes mutual learning between students of two nations.

She hope that students’ friendship can be carried on and more exchanging programs can

be developed in the near future.
