Dankook University Visted Huizhou University

On the morning of March 30th, a delegation from Dankook University visited our university
for an exchange. Cho Seong-hyun, director of the International Division of Dankook
University, led the visit, and the exchange forum took place in meeting room 511 of the
Administration Building. Leaders from our International Affairs Department, School of
Music, and other relevant units attended the forum. The head of the International Exchange
and Cooperation Department presided over the event.
During the forum, Cho provided a detailed description of Dankook University's history,
educational philosophy, scale, specialties, and the conditions of international students. The
deputy director of HZU International Affairs Department introduced our school's achievements
since its establishment, particularly in the process of promoting internationalization. He
expressed the hope that both sides could increase cooperation to complement each other's
strengths and create a better future. Lin Bilian, dean of our School of Music, presented the
basic situation and professional features of the faculty. The two sides had in-depth exchanges
on talent training, specialty settings, future directions of cooperation, and other aspects.
Dankook University is a comprehensive university in South Korea that was founded in 1947. It
currently has two campuses, 25 colleges, and offers 100 specialties. The university has 63
departments in the Master's Graduate School and 51 departments in the Doctoral Graduate
School. With over 30,000 students, it covers a wide range of subjects and is ranked top in the
arts category in Korea. Additionally, in the 2023 QS World University Rankings, it ranks
751-800.
