HZU Holds the Opening Ceremony of the Exchange Study workshop 

for Teachers and Students of Nagasaki University of 

Foreign Languages

On the afternoon of March 5th, HZU held the opening ceremony for the first short-term 

exchange study workshop for teachers and students of Nagasaki University of Foreign 

Languages. Professor Yushi Noda and short-term exchange students of Nagasaki 

University of Foreign Studies, Vice President Wei Xiaohui of Huizhou University, and 

leaders from relevant departments and academic schools attended the event.

 

The director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department pointed out 

that the university attaches great importance to international people-to-people 

exchanges, and the project will help Chinese and foreign students broaden their 

international horizons and enhance their international understanding. She hoped 

that the two universities would take this workshop as an opportunity to enhance 

mutual understanding between teachers and students and establish a stable and 

long-term exchange and cooperation relationship.

 

Noda Yushi said that although the cooperation between the two universities was not 

long established, the two sides have always maintained close and efficient communication 

and liaison, and made joint efforts to promote this study project. He expressed his 

gratitude to Huizhou University for its warm invitation and thoughtful preparation 

for the event. He believed that in the next study, students from Nagasaki University of 

Foreign Studies will gain a great harvest in Chinese language learning and Chinese 

cultural experience. At the same time, the exchanges and cooperation between the 

two sides will also be further expanded and improved.

 

Wei Xiaohui extended a warm welcome to the representatives from Nagasaki University 

of Foreign Studies for their visitation in the spring and she briefly introduced HZU’s 

history, characteristics and achievements in international exchanges and cooperation. 

She hoped that the students of Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies would cherish 

the two-week study and study, and make contributions to enhancing the friendship 

between teachers and students of the two universities by participating in a variety of 

activities, observing, experiencing, communicating and learning more.
